The finish is smooth and enduring, delicately laced with caramel. Its bright acidity and fresh fruit flavors will pair beautifully with freshly shucked oysters, swordfish steak or a salad of bitter greens and pears.

Gift Box
$12.00
Gust Chardonnay 2018, Petaluma Gap Sonoma County
$25.00
$28.00___ Winery Notes A portion of the grapes were crushed with their stems directly to press. This allows clean juice to run through the press whilst the crushing means that more solids are picked up and a more viscous, robust texture to the wine is aded. The rest of the grapes were directly transferred to press as whole-cluster bunches. This gives a lighter, more elegant texture and preserves some of the fresher fruit characteristics and highlights the aromatics we were looking for. The balance between these two techniques creates a wine with notes of brioche, lemon, and gardenias, lightning-like acidity, and a non-stop finish.
Hilt Chardonnay "Bentrock Vineyard"2019, St. Rita Hills
$85.50

Drink or hold. 95 points Jeb Dunnuck: "Even better, the 2019 Chardonnay Bentrock Vineyard boasts a thrilling, richer, medium to full-bodied style that shows winemaker Matt Dees’ vibrant, chiseled style while still bringing ample fruit. White peach, caramelized orchard fruits, toasted almonds and spice emerge on the nose, and it has a Chablis on steroids-like style that will evolve gracefully for a decade. Drink: 2021-2031. 95 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2019 Chardonnay Bentrock opens with super-expressive aromatics. Chalk, white pepper, mint, lemon peel and slate race out of the glass. Mt. Beautiful Chardonnay 2019, Canterbury New Zealand
$18.00
$21.00___ Wine Enthusiast 92 Points This is a classy Chard from the cool climes of North Canterbury. It's a rich, concentrated wine but one with depth and elegance. It takes its time opening, gradually revealing melon and grapefruit, backed by subtle toasty oak spice and wet stone mineral nuances. As it warms the fruit really sits in the driver's seat. The palate is highly textural and buoyed by crystalline acidity.
Odette Reserve Chardonnay 2022, Napa Valley
$72.00

Medium-bodied, seamless and satiny, it flows effortlessly through the mouth with both depth of flavor and freshness. Youthful hints of matchstick give way to intense aromas of white peach, jasmine, spring butter and crushed almonds. The medium-bodied palate balances layers of perfumed fruit with electric acidity, and its satiny, mouth-coating texture drives a very long finish. This Chardonnay offers an intoxicating combination of power and energy, and I can't wait to see how it performs from bottle.

William Harrison Chardonnay "Sangiacomo Vineyard" 2019, Carneros
$26.50
$28.95___ The lineage for both of our Chardonnay sources can be traced back to Livermore's Wente vineyards. In Catarina Ranch, the Sangiacomo Family planted Clone 17, better known as the Robert Young selection, and in their El Novillero vineyard, it's the workhorse Clone 4 variety. Whole cluster pressed, barrel fermented and aged in 30% new oak, this wine boasts classic aromas of lemon zest and pineapple up front, with a subtle nuance of creme brulee underneath. Allowing half of it to finish malolactic fermentation gives this Chardonnay a slightly rounder texture, offsetting its naturally bright acidity.

This classic 2016 vintage was extremely kind to Sangiovese, but not all producers were able to harness this level of varietal purity, elegance and sheer energy. This soulful wine is indeed best characterized by its inner electricity. The "donkey's back," or Schiena d'Asino, is a special vineyard site where grapes enjoy long sun hours and cool nighttime temperatures. Production is 9,000 bottles.

$183.00___ Vinous 97 The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is a pretty rich, bombastic wine, especially for Mayacamas. A blast of dark fruit, incense, tobacco, licorice, spice and mocha hits the palate. I would give the 2019 at least a few years in bottle to settle down, as it is quite the powerhouse today. This is an unusually flamboyant wine with plenty of richness and a bit less in the way of subtlety. The opulence of the vintage comes through loud and clear. Wine Spectator 96 Loaded with character and energy, this version reveals heavy notes of zesty sweet bay leaf and sassafras that infuse a core of steeped red currant and mulberry fruit, all carried by bright acidity and iron-laced tannins. Ramey Cabernet Sauvignon 2016, Napa Valley

Robert Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville The Estates 2019, Oakville
$76.50
$85.00___ #6 on Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2022 & 94 Points This wine marks a comeback for the venerable Robert Mondavi Winery, with its first appearance in our Top 100 since 2011. Winemaker Nova Cadamatre helped oversee significant replanting in the famed To Kalon vineyard during her tenure (she left the winery in 2021). As young vine parcels came into production, she employed a strict selection for the winery’s The Reserve, instead feeding the new-parcel fruit into the middle-tier Oakville bottling (renamed The Estates starting with the 2018 vintage). Relying on organic farming practices, with native yeast fermentations and no filtration at bottling, this is very much a new and promising Mondavi.

Steady Slate Cabernet Sauvignon 2021, Napa Valley
$53.00
$59.00___ The 2021 growing season at our Oak Knoll vineyard was one of the driest on record, yet rainfall in late winter and early spring helped build good soil moisture. Budbreak was late and staved off the risk of frost, and consistently warm, dry summer weather led to modestly sized canopies and lower than average per-vine yields. Cluster sizes and berry weights were therefore small, which translated into very concentrated color and flavors when we hand-harvested our Cabernet Sauvignon in the very early morning hours of September 30th.
The Mascot Cabernet Sauvignon 2019, Napa Valley

From a center point on the palate, the 2019 vintage undulates outward in all directions. Gentle, velvety swells pause and fold in on themselves, their liquid whorls of refined tannin and gratifying acidity gliding across the surface of smooth curves before retreating gradually to reveal, on the finish, the burnished dimensions beneath.

The blend for Abstract begins with Grenache, and then they weave in Syrah and Petite Sirah, but the combination and blend differ from year to year.
