Look for ruby red grapefruit, persimmon, and cranberry. Grown in the shadows of Mt. Kenya, this coffee is a blend of SL-28, 34, Ruiru 11, and Batian varieties.

This marks our second release of the year from Kivubelt Coffee, which is owned and operated by our Direct Trade partner Furaha Umwizeye. Located in the Nyamasheke district of western Rwanda, this coffee comes from a group of smallholder farmers, collectively known as People’s Farm.

Look for nectarine, citrus, golden raisin. A perennial favorite of our coffee team and one of the unsung heroes of our single-origin menu.

This release features a variety that is new to us and a farm that is not. The variety is known locally in Peru as Bourbon Marshell, named for the owner of the farm where the unusual seed was first discovered and later multiplied for distribution. It was grown at Finca La Palestina by the Alarcón Coronel family, a rising star in our global Direct Trade network. Flavor notes: toffee, dats, & white grapefruit.

The López family's selective cherry harvesting, obsessive selection, and meticulous processing have made La Mina one of the country's most decorated coffee farms, with five winning lots (and counting) at the prestigious Cup of Excellence competition. La Mina is the small farm with the big reputation. Black Grape, Lime, Hibiscus

A shade-grown organic blend designed to enlighten, anchored by a luminous Ethiopian single-origin lot.

Look for caramel, apple, orange. This single-farm lot is the product of field work our friends at Bon Café are doing with family-run farms.

Persephone is our annual celebration of spring, evoking its spirit of renewal and hope. The 2024 edition features coffees from small-scale family farmers from three exciting coffee origins in East Africa: Burundi, Ethiopia, and Kenya, including two of our favorite single-origin offerings Yandaro and Buku.
